El clima social en els centres residencials d’infància i adolescència

Abstract

El projecte de tesi doctoral que es presenta a continuació, mostra els eixos principals de la recerca els quals són el clima social i els centres de protecció d’infància i adolescència. Cal destacar que, quan ens endinsem en aquests dos temes, que en la seva combinació han estat poc explorats. Podem observar que s’ha generat molta literatura sobre la influència del clima en diversos contextos (Silva, 1996), com ara: l’escola, en el món de l’empresa, les famílies, els centres de justícia, etc. El clima social és un concepte molt imprecís i ambigu, el qual es troba en la percepció dels seus membres però que té conseqüències directes sobre les persones i les organitzacions. Els objectius que sustentaran la recerca són els següents: a) Conèixer els elements conceptuals que delimiten el recurs dels centres residencials d’acció educativa (CRAE) en relació al clima social. b) Conèixer la valoració que fan educadors i infants del clima social del seu CRAE. c) Comprendre els elements que afecten a les valoracions que fan educadors socials i infants sobre el clima social. En la recerca es planteja des de l’enfocament metodològic d’orientació quantitativa. S’han realitzat diferents qüestionaris per tal de conèixer el clima social en els CRAE dels participants que pertanyen als CRAE del territori Català: els infants i joves més grans de 12 anys i els educadors i les educadores que treballen en aquestes institucions i els directors dels centres. Per finalitzar, podrem veure els resultats de la percepció del clima social dels CRAE, quines són les fortaleses i les mancances en aquestes institucions des de la perspectiva del clima, i les implicacions en la satisfacció en els membres de les llars.

The project of doctoral thesis that presents below shows the main axes of the research which are the social climate and the centres of infancy and adolescence protection. It should be pointed that when we get involved in these two subjects, in their combination has been little explored. We can observe that it has generated a lot of literature about influence of the climate in several contexts (Silva, 1996), such as: the school, the circle of business, families, centres of justice, etc. The social climate is a very imprecise and ambiguous concept, which finds in the perception of their members but that, has direct consequences around people and societies. The aims that will be based the research are the next ones: to) Recognise the conceptual elements that delimit the resource of the residential centres of educational action (CRAE) in connection with the social climate. b) Recognise the valuation that does educators and children of the social climate of his CRAE. c) Understand the elements that concern to the valuations that do social educators and children about the social climate. The research is contemplated from a methodological approach with a quantitative orientation. It has realised different surveys in order to know the social climate in the CRAE of participants that belong to the CRAE of the Catalan territory: children and teenagers bigger than 12 years and male and female educators that work in these institutions and the directors of the centres. To conclude, with this study will be able to see the results in perception of the social climate of the CRAE, which are the strengths and the scarcities in these institutions from the point of view of the climate, and the involvement in the satisfaction of their members at home.
