Estudio de las ocasiones de gol en La Liga durante la temporada 2019/2020

Abstract

[spa] Son numerosos los estudios que se han realizado sobre la consecución del gol en Mundiales, Eurocopas, Champions League y en las principales ligas europeas, pero pocas investigaciones han tenido como objeto de estudio el conjunto de las ocasiones de gol generadas en una competición regular. El objetivo principal de nuestra investigación ha sido estudiar las ocasiones de gol en La Liga durante la temporada 2019/2020, indistintamente del tipo de ataque que se ha utilizado y del éxito o no en el resultado de la ocasión. El análisis de la ocasión de gol comienza en el momento que se recupera el balón o cuando se reinicia el juego hasta que la jugada finaliza. La muestra de la investigación es de una temporada nada convencional, al jugarse durante la pandemia de covid-19, obligando a suspenderse temporalmente la competición para posteriormente reiniciarse hasta su conclusión.

Gracias al marco teórico y al uso de la metodología observacional hemos creado un instrumento de observación ad hoc para el análisis de las ocasiones de gol en el fútbol (SOFAOG) que nos ha permitido obtener los datos necesarios para la realización del estudio. El diseño observacional de esta investigación ha sido ideográfico, nomotético, puntual y multidimensional. En este estudio hemos realizado un análisis descriptivo e inferencial bivariado. El análisis inferencial bivariado de los datos nos ha permitido discernir qué variables son significativas respecto al resultado de la ocasión de gol, resultado del partido y clasificación final.

Hemos pretendido describir una parte de la realidad competitiva de La Liga con los objetivos de aumentar la comprensión de una de las 5 principales ligas europeas e intentar optimizar el rendimiento de los equipos y/o jugadores durante el proceso de entrenamiento al aplicar los resultados de esta investigación.

[eng] There are numbers of studies that have been carried out on achieving goals in World Cups, European Championships, Champions League and in the main European leagues, but few investigations have had as an object of study the set of scoring chances generated in a regular competition. The main objective of our research has been to study the scoring chances in La Liga during the 2019/2020 season, regardless of the type of attack that has been used and whether the result of the chance was successful. The analysis of the scoring opportunity begins now the ball is recovered or when the game is restarted until the play ends. The sample of the investigation is from an unconventional season, when it was played during the covid-19 pandemic, forcing the competition to be suspended to later restart until its conclusion.

Thanks to the theoretical framework and the use of the observational methodology, we have created an ad hoc observation instrument for the analysis of scoring chances in soccer (SOFAOG) that has allowed us to obtain the necessary data to carry out the study. The observational design of this research has been ideographic, nomothetic, punctual and multidimensional. In this study we have performed a bivariate descriptive and inferential analysis. The bivariate inferential analysis of the data has allowed us to discern which variables are significant with respect to the result of the chance to score, the result of the match and the final classification.

We have tried to describe a part of the competitive reality of La Liga with the objectives of increasing the understanding of one of the 5 main European leagues and trying to optimize the performance of the teams and/or players during the training process by applying the results of this research.
