Heidegger i la qüestió del món (1927/30)

Abstract

Aquesta tesi desenvolupa una investigació fenomenològico-hermenèutica sistemàtica sobre la qüestió del món en Heidegger (1927/30), essencialment tàcita en el seu plantejament de la qüestió del ser.

Aquesta recerca sobre el concepte de món té dues intencions simultànies. Per una banda, elaborar sistemàticament i integral el discurs de Heidegger entorn del món. I per altra, radicalitzar interpretativament el seu pensament -sovint germinal- sobre aquesta qüestió, situant-me eventualment més enllà de les interpretacions més ortodoxes de l’autor. La qüestió del món és articulada ontològicament (el món com a ser, el ser com a món) partint de la diferència cosmològica (entre món i ens). El món com a obertura (SuZ) i esdeveniment (post-SuZ) on els conceptes de ser, no-res, ens, Dasein i fonament troben la seva dimensió fenomenològica, en el constant remetre’s uns als altres.

La tesi s’organitza en cinc parts, constituint la III i la IV el cos central on desplego conceptualment el fenomen del món. La III presenta una lectura integral de Sein und Zeit per desenterrar la qüestió del món en els seus aspectes múltiples. La IV elabora les indicacions sobre el món i les problemàtiques annexes sorgides de SuZ, a partir dels cursos i escrits més rellevants del període post-SuZ (entre el SS 1927 i el WS 1929/30).

La interpretació que faig del doble ús del ‘Dasein’ -qua ens i qua ser (ésser-en-el-món o transcendència)- (II, cap.2) em permet una lectura productiva de SuZ (III) que revela els assoliments i límits de la conceptualització heideggeriana del món, alhora que destapa indicacions encobertes que haurien de permetre continuar la investigació més enllà de la lletra de Heidegger. El món a SuZ es vertebra segons tres perspectives, eixos o nivells: familiaritat, esfondrament i apropiació (III, cap.1, 2, 3). Del món com a significativitat a la nihilitat del món, on despunta la possibilitat de l’apropiació de l’obertura del món (en l’elaboració dels conceptes fonamentals de la 2ª secció de SuZ). La part IV planteja la qüestió del món des del “nou” concepte de transcendència de la fase post-SuZ (cap.5). Un fil conductor és la problemàtica, descoberta en l’anàlisi de la 2ª secció de SuZ, del vincle inherent entre mundanitat i ipseïtat (lligam essencial de Dasein, món i ens) per la doble via del projecte (cap.6: projecte de món, configuració de món i llibertat vers el fonament) i de l’afectivitat (cap.7: angoixa, avorriment, totalitat). El capítol 8 recull el pensament més especulatiu sobre l’essència del món exposat al curs WS 1929/30, que insinua la unitat de fons de les dues vies anteriors.

This dissertation presents a systematic phenomenological-hermeneutical investigation of the “question of the world” in Heidegger (1927/30), essentially implicit in his approach to the question of being.

This research on the concept of the world has two simultaneous intentions: on the one hand to discuss Heidegger’s discourse on the world systematically and in its entirety; and on the other, to radicalize his –often germinal– thought on this question, through its interpretation, eventually moving beyond the more orthodox ways in which the author has been read. The question of the world is articulated ontologically (world as being, being as world) based on the cosmological difference (between world and entities). The world as disclosure (SuZ) and event (post-SuZ), where the concepts of being, nothing, entity, Dasein and ground take on a phenomenological dimension, as they are constantly referring to one another.

The dissertation is organized in five parts, where parts III and IV constitute the main body, which lays out the conceptual investigation of the phenomenon of the world. Part III presents an integral reading of Sein und Zeit to reveal the question of the world in its multiple aspects. Part IV elaborates the indications regarding the world and the related problematics that emerge from SuZ based on course notes and the most relevant writings from the post-SuZ period (between SS 1927 and WS 1929/30).

My interpretation of the double use of ‘Dasein’ – qua entity and qua being (being-in-the world or transcendence) – (II, ch.2) allows for a productive reading of SuZ (III), which reveals the accomplishments and limitations of the Heideggerian conceptualization of the world, while it reveals underlying indications that should allow for continuing investigation, above and beyond Heidegger’s texts. In my view, the world in SuZ is organised according to three perspectives or levels: familiarity, breaking-down and appropriation (III, ch.1, 2, 3). From the world as significance to the nullity of the world, there emerges the possibility of appropriation of the world-disclosure (in the elaboration of the fundamental concepts from the 2nd section of SuZ).

Part IV proposes the question of the world based on the “new” concept of transcendence from the post-SuZ phase (ch.5). One leitmotif is the problematic, discovered during the analysis of the 2nd section of SuZ, of the inherent link between worldliness and selfhood (an essential tie between Dasein, world, and entity) through the double path of project (ch.6: project of the world, world configuration and freedom toward ground) and affectedness (ch.7: anguish, boredom, totality). Chapter eight gathers the more speculative thought on the essence of the world laid out during the course WS 1929/30, which hints at the common ground in the two previous paths.
