Conocer las reacciones de los cuidadores de pacientes con demencia en un contexto español y europeo

Abstract

Introducción: Conocer reacción cuidador en aspectos negativos/positivos Objetivo: Conocer la situación de cuidadores informales (CI) de pacientes con demencia (PwD) en contexto español y europeo, en el domicilio (HC) y residencia (NH), traducir adaptar cuestionario CRA al contexto español y evaluar sus propiedades psicométricas. Metodología: 287 CI de PwD validación del instrumento. Comparación a nivel europeo de 2.014 CI de PwD, en HC o NH. 241 CI conocer sus reacciones en HC y NH, en fase basal y seguimiento Resultados y discusión: El CRA-SP mostró consistencia interna, estabilidad temporal. Se observó variabilidad entre los países diferencias entre HC y NH. Autoestima, falta de apoyo familiar se correlacionan con la carga del cuidador y su bienestar psicológico Diferencias en el periodo basal entre los CI de NH de los que viven HC, menos apoyo familiar e interferencias en las actividades de la vida diaria, no hubo diferencias a los 3 meses.
