La Transformación Financiera de Occidente en el final del s. XX. Financiarización y Subjetividad

[spa] La Financiarización, “el creciente papel de las motivaciones, los mercados, los agentes y las instituciones financieras en las actividades económicas tanto nacionales como internacionales” ha traspasado el ámbito de la economía para impregnar cualquier actividad humana. Nos planteamos estudiar los efectos que este proceso está teniendo sobre la noción de sujeto a partir del paralelismo que se puede establecer en las transformaciones que han experimentado los conceptos de dinero y sujeto.

Con este fin se ha desarrollado una metodología que incluye un modelo inductivo en el que se rastrean paralelismos históricos (isomorfismos) que den soporte a nuestra hipótesis. Esta se utilizará como punto de partida para una axiomática que nos permita calificar el dinero como concepto y como máquina de guerra en terminología de Deleuze- Guattari.

Como resultado, las herramientas teóricas desarrolladas nos permitirán comprender y evaluar los cambios sociales actuales y las perspectivas sobre la evolución de la comprensión del sujeto dotados de una base teórica rigurosa y, en especial, refutable. En este sentido, apostamos para comprender la Financiarización como una nueva cosmovisión que convierte al sujeto en un ser-por-el-otro en la medida en que lo que nos constituye es el hecho de ser reconocidos por el conjunto de la sociedad.

[eng] Financialization, “the growing role of financial motivations, financial markets, financial agents and institutions in economic activities, both domestic and internationally” has trespassed the economic scope to impregnate any human activity. We plan to study the effects that this process is having on the conception of the self, studying the parallel transformations that can be detected between the self and money.

With this goal, a methodology has been developed, including an inductive model in which some historical parallelisms (isomorphisms) are tracked down, which allows for the support of our hypothesis. We will then use it as a starting point for an axiomatic model that will allow us to classify money as a concept and a war machine, using the Deleuze-Guattari terminology.

As a result, the theoretic tools developed throughout this dissertation will allow us to understand and evaluate current social changes as well as perspectives about the evolution of the understanding of the self by means of a theoretical, rigorous and, most importantly, refutable basis. In this sense, we believe Financialization to be a new cosmovision which turns the self into a being-for-the-other, in the sense that what makes the self is being recognized.
