La función social de las orquestas sinfónicas en el siglo XXI. Un modelo educativo integrador para las orquestas españolas

Abstract

The Orchestras, that in the past times reflected the economic growth and welfare of cities, are nowadays evolving towards a more participatory model, a precursor of cultural projects with a twofold aspect. The first one is educational and the second has to do with reaching the audience of different ages that would guarantee the generational relay, as well as survival of the orchestra in future. The educational aspect is understood here as the integral training of the individuals and their interaction with the society to which they belong. It is a non-formal training that has a bearing on a life time educational process. On the other hand, durability and generational relay of its audience is understood from the perspective of establishing a continuous dialogue with society, while meeting their demands through active participation in the cultural event. Orchestral ensembles find their role in this society through specific training programs, structured in different ways in order to achieve a wider and more complete field of action. The mayor purpose of this research focuses on analyzing the social function of symphonic ensembles, through various paradigmatic programs at the community level from a social and educational perspective. In this study, the relationship between symphonic ensembles and society is understood from a community perspective, focusing on the social and educational impact in its scope of action and the power it has as a tool of transforming society.

Les orquestres, que en el passat reflectien el creixement econòmic i el benestar de les ciutats, es troben en evolució cap a un model més participatiu, precursor de projectes culturals amb una doble vessant: l'educativa i la perdurabilitat i relleu generacional del seu públic objectiu. L'educativa, entesa com a formació integral de l'individu i la seva interacció amb la societat a la qual pertany. Una educació no formal que incideix en l'educació continua al llarg de tota la vida. I d'altra banda la perdurabilitat i relleu generacional del seu públic, entesa des de la perspectiva d'aconseguir establir un continu diàleg amb la societat, atenent les seves demandes, a través d'una participació activa en el fet cultural. Les formacions orquestrals troben la seva funció en aquesta societat a través de diversos programes formatius, estructurats de diferents maneres per a aconseguir un camp d'actuació més gran. L'objectiu d'aquesta recerca se centra en analitzar des d'una perspectiva social i educativa la funció social de les formacions simfòniques a través de diversos programes paradigmàtics d'àmbit comunitari. En aquest estudi, la relació entre les formacions simfòniques i la societat és entesa des d'una perspectiva comunitària, posant el focus d'atenció en l'impacte social i formatiu en el seu àmbit d'actuació i el seu poder transformador en la societat.
