Visions del Cosmos: Estudi comparatiu entre les concepcions cosmogòniques gregues i egípcies

Abstract

This is a comparative study between the Greek and Egyptian cosmogonies in addition to the kosmopoia in the Leiden J 395 papyrus. Without losing sight of the great influence that the Near East exerted on the Greek cosmogonies, we will centre on specific points revealing different aspects of these cosmogonies, such as the Being, the pre-existential darkness, the World Egg, divinity as a vessel of existence, a cyclical vision of the universe, the conception of the triad, anthropogony or the universe structure among others. They will allow the establishment of particular influences or typological coincidences among the different cosmogonies investigated. The original contribution of this thesis is the study of the Leiden papyrus, where we find Greek and Egyptian elements which will reveal the surviving tendencies of both civilisations in the Late Period.

Estudi comparatiu entre les cosmogonies egípcies i gregues, juntament amb la kosmopoia del Papir de Leiden J 395. Sense perdre de vista la gran influència que el Pròxim Orient exercí sobre les cosmogonies gregues, ens centrarem en uns determinats punts els quals revelen diferents aspectes d’aquestes, com ara l'Ésser, la tenebra preexistencial, l’ou còsmic, la divinitat com a receptacle de l'existència, la visió cíclica de l’univers, la concepció de la tríada, l’antropogonia o l'estructura de l'univers entre d’altres temàtiques, que permetran establir uns determinats punts d’influència o coincidències tipològiques que presenten les diferents visions cosmogòniques estudiades. L’originalitat d’aquesta tesi recau en l’estudi del papir de Leiden, on hi trobem elements tant grecs com egipcis, els quals ens mostraran les tendències supervivents d’ambdues civilitzacions en època tardana.
