Gènere, cos i esport: un paisatge pedagògic dels trànsits estètics contemporanis

Abstract

La tesi es presenta en format de compendi de 4 publicacions i es pregunta sobre la possibilitat de dibuixar un paisatge de relacions entre l'educació i la cultura com modeladors d'identitats de gènere partint de l’estudi de fonts històriques. El nostre paisatge, doncs, s’estén pel territori Europeu (Catalunya, Estat Español i Alemanya), un paisatge que expressa, de manera sincrònica i diacrònica, l’esdevenir del segle XX. Un paisatge que està fet també de conceptes generatius i relacionals com ara cos, esport i gènere. Del que es tracta és de rastrejar per l’espai i el temps els diferents prototips de masculinitat i feminitat i abordar els conceptes, discursos i narratives que els conformen així com les pràctiques educatives que se’n desprenen. Aquest és, doncs, un estudi que intenta explorar nous punts d’aproximació a les problemàtiques actuals relacionades amb el cos, el sexisme, l’homofòbia o la coeducació en les nostres institucions educatives i socials sempre arrelades en la història dels conceptes. Perquè del que es tracta és de poder oferir una història viva partint d’una metodologia estètica que pren el paisatge com a eix vertebrador.

The thesis is presented in the form of a compendium of 4 publications and asks about the possibility of drawing a landscape of relationships between education and culture as shapers of gender identities based on the study of historical sources. Our landscape, then, extends across European territory (Catalonia, Spain and Germany), a landscape that expresses, synchronically and diachronically, the coming of a century (20th). A landscape that is also made of concepts, generative and relational concepts such as body, sport and gender. What we are talking about is tracing through space and time the different prototypes of masculinity and femininity and addressing the concepts, discourses and narratives that make them up as well as the educational practices that arise from them. This is therefore a study that tries to explore new points of approach to current problems related to the body, sexism, homophobia or co-education in our educational and social institutions always rooted in the history of concepts. Because what we are talking about is being able to offer a living story based on an aesthetic methodology that takes the landscape as its backbone.
